All early childhood settings are governed by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). They undergo a regular assessment and rating process, which involves rating all aspects of a service's program and practice against the National Quality Standard (NQS). There are 58 elements, in 7 Quality Areas.
Waratah Public School Preschool previous assessment and rating process was conducted in July 2016 and we were rated as 'EXCEEDING' the National Quality Standard, in each of the 7 Quality Areas.
We have been notified of our next Assessment and Rating cycle for Term 4, 2020.
