One of main aims of WPS P&C is to raise funds in helping provide our school with new resources. In the past money raised has gone towards educational, sporting, arts & environmental resources, playground equipment, improving technology infrastructure, financially supporting children in WPS representative sports and whatever needs that may arise.
By holding various events during the year, including Easter Raffle, Mother's Day Father's Day stalls, Raffles, Pie Drives, Cake stalls, BBQ's, Fetes, Trivia nights, plus many more, we have been able to fund many resources and events for our school including iPads, playground equipment, sports equipment and uniforms, veggie and sensory gardens and other environmental educational resources, library books, home reader resources, classroom aids, NAIDOC Day, StarStruck, Bushwahzee dance evenings and Twilight Xmas Carols Concert.
The organisation of fundraising events cannot happen without the support of volunteers which is the backbone of our P&C. New volunteers are always welcome!
