Waratah Public School is engaged with the local Aboriginal Education and Consultative Group (AECG).

 

We are actively working on embedding local Aboriginal artefacts into our physical environments. 

Emu Constellations

Emu Constellation
Image: This Emu was installed in response to discussions with preschool children about constellations. Research was conducted into 'The Emu in the Sky' constellations which is of great significance in Aboriginal culture. Once complete, this installation will represent the the 'Emu in the Sky'constellation.
