Educators at Waratah Public School Preschool take the health and safety of children seriously and follow strict procedures in how we manage children's with health conditions, including allergies.
Educators meet with all families prior to enrolment to discuss individual children's needs, including medical conditions. A child will not be enrolled until this meeting takes palce and all supporting documentation and medication are supplied to the preschool.
Our Dealing with Medical Conditions procedure is provided to families upon enrolment and outlines the responsibilities of parents/carers and educators.
