The Waratah Public School Rugby 7's team preparing for their first game.

Students from Stage 2 and Stage 3 that were selected in the rugby team participated in the Waratah Junior Rugby Club 7 a side rugby union gala day.

Both teams performed extremely well on the day to be undefeated, WINNING both competitions! As it was the first time playing rugby union, students enjoyed learning a lot of new skills.

Thanks to Mr Fielder for helping to coach the teams.
